Rematriate the Land

"For more than 500 years, colonization fought to eliminate Indigenous people from the land because of their way of life. Now, we are asking them to share their lifeways, for our own self-preservation. ASLA has accepted Indigenous Traditional Ecological Knowledge as a science. But now we need to take steps toward reconciliation that involve acknowledging our history and accepting the truths about what happened. It is now time for ASLA to fight for the reconnection of Native people to their ancestral lands."
