2009 AZA Exhibit Award
This new award winning exhibit is a stunning, multi-species experience set in the Russian Far East, from Kamchatka Peninsula to Primorye and the Ussuri River Valley. These are places of mystical beauty, profound conservation challenges and fascinating animals which, by virtue of their own native habitat, are also uniquely adapted to Minnesota’s conditions. Special features of the exhibit provide visitors with captivating portrayals of the lives of real people who make their living in this unique wilderness, side-by-side with the wildlife.
